Below are the instructions on how to forward your company Google Apps email to Vista Helpdesk support system.

  1. Open your Gmail account from where you want to forward emails. Emails can be forwarded for only one Gmail Address.
  2. On the upper right-hand side corner of the view, click on the Gear Icon.
  3. Click on Settings from the drop down list.

  1. Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.

  1. In the "Forwarding" portion, click Add a forwarding address.

  1. Enter the "Forwarding" email address from under Settings → Email Forwarding.
  2. Click the Next button.

  1. Click the Proceed button.

  1. Click OK.

  1. A verification email will be sent to the email address which indeed will reflect as a ticket in your Vista Helpdesk portal with a subject Gmail Forwarding Confirmation - Receive Mail from (Your Gmail Email ID).
  2. Copy the "confirmation code" from the email. Go back to the Settings page for the Gmail account and paste there.

  1. Click on the Verify button.
  2. Now choose what you want to do with the Gmail copy of your emails. We recommend Keep Gmail's copy in the Inbox option to choose.

  1. Click "Save" to confirm your forwarding settings. Future messages that you receive will automatically be forwarded based on the settings you entered.
